This painting was an unusual project even for the uncommonness of Klimas art Gallery. The map of the world in muted colors and sepia tones, according to the design of a young artist associated with Klimas art and under her artistic supervision, was created together by hundreds of people. Indeed, the joint filming took place during the Roof Forum 2024 trade fair in Kielce. Visitors could not only see how the impressive screw art images were created, but also make a contribution from themselves. The work was created with the Great Orchestra of Christmas Charity (Wielka Orkiestra Świątecznej Pomocy) in mind and was donated for auction during the 32nd Finale of the campaign, raising more than PLN 4,000 on the Foundation's account.

Three-dimensional depth of image

Screw Art is made up of thousands of screws which, screwed close together into a fir board but at different depths, create an extraordinary three-dimensional sculptural relief. Each of the 70,000 screw heads becomes a tiny steel canvas for the artists. The multitude of colours, clever design, fascinating chiaroscuro, and masterful precision give the works, inspired by the works of the great masters, a new dimension. Industrial screws turn out to be a graceful material in the hands of the young talents, and the steel rawness is transformed into delicate paintings.
